Peanut Butter Crunch Cookies

1 C. Sugar                                                                           

1 C. Light Karo Syrup                                                      

Combine sugar and Karo syrup in large, heavy pot.

Cook over medium heat until bubbly.

Remove from heat and add:

1 Tbsp. margarine                                                           

1 Tbsp vanilla                                                                   

1 lb. peanut butter                                                         

Stir until melted, then add:

6 C. corn flakes                                                                

Stir until coated.  Drop by Tbsp onto waxed paper to cool.
