After knowing each other most of their high school years and attending the same small, country church Ryan and Heather got married on January 7, 1989. The couple then moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana so that Heather could continue her schooling at Wayne University. Later that year Ryan started at Vincennes University in their Aviation Maintenance program and the again moved. This time to the little town of Bruceville near Vincennes. Ryan worked as an assistant for a local crop duster during those two years and just a week before graduation, their first child was born. Belinda Ann joined them on April 6, 1991 and of course changed their lives forever. After graduation, Ryan was offered several jobs with major airlines, but the couple chose ot move back closer to family so they relocated to Rochester, Indiana. In 1995 another daughter was added to the family, MaKayla Raye.

They spent several years working and searching for God’s will for them. They investigated several missions in the aviation and Bible translating fields, but nothing seemed to fit. Having both grown up singing and ministering through music in church, they continued to fill in musically wherever needed. Then in 1998 they were asked to sing at the Marshall County Blueberry Festival on the Gospel stage. They got together with a friend and local musican, recorded some new tracks to sing with and hit the stage. They were hooked! They soon realized what God had in mind for their ministry all along.

Since that time they have ministered to thousands at churches, concerts, fairs, banquets, revivals, and citywide crusades. They have taken the stage with gospel greats such as The Perrys, The Wilburns, Poet Voices, Greater Vision, The New Hinsons, Dottie Rambo, Aaron Wilburn and many more. They have been featured on television and can be heard on radio stations across the country.

The couples youngest daughter, Rebecca Leigh, born in May of 1998 as well as their other daughters are always a thrill for audiences. As the girls have grown and matured the group’s sound has taken on a tight, rich blend. In one fan’s words, “when they sing, you can hear the Blood.”

The Stutzman Family believes in sharing the Gospel through word and song with great vocals, honest testimonies, humorous stories, and a worshipful attitude.
